OUR IMPACT

The Rotary Club of Oshawa was established in 1920. We are People of Action who are neighbours, friends, leaders and problem solvers who create lasting change in ourselves, in our community and in our world. By supporting local organizations and programs like UOIT, Durham College, RCAC 151 Chadburn Air Cadet Squadron, educational scholarships, and breakfast programs in local schools, we help to nurture tomorrow’s leaders. We help improve quality of life locally by providing support to organizations like Durham Hospice, Deaf Blind Ontario Services and the Canadian Diabetes Association and many more.

Is a national leader in providing trauma-informed mental health care for veterans, first responders, and their families. They offer innovative programs designed to help those who have faced operational stress injuries while serving our country and our communities.

Serves as the lifeblood of local healthcare as the fundraising arm for Lakeridge Health’s Bowmanville Hospital. They ensure our community has access to the high-quality medical equipment and advanced technology needed to care for our families right here at home.

Provides a critical lifeline to women and children in Clarington and the surrounding areas who are experiencing or at risk of violence. By offering emergency shelter, essential resources, and dedicated advocacy, they create a path toward safety and healing.

For generations, the Bowmanville Lions Club has been a driving force for community support and volunteerism in Durham Region. Known for their hands-on involvement and commitment to helping others, the club raises funds and provides support for local causes, community programs, healthcare initiatives, youth activities, and families in need. Their passion for service and dedication to strengthening the community continues to make a lasting impact throughout Bowmanville and beyond.
